 APPEARING AT SXSW

 NEW ALBUM COMING SUMMER 2011

As the Green Bay Packers hoisted the Lombardi Trophy this past Sunday, Wisconsin natives and Packer fans Locksley celebrated as well, in spirit and song as their newly minted track "Oh Wisconsin" played through the PA at Cowboys Stadium following the trophy ceremony. Earlier in the night, their song "The Whip" was the background to an NFL 2010 season retrospective that played on the Jumbotron at the Stadium.

A testament to their state pride, Locksley wrote "Oh, Wisconsin!" this past summer, and planned to release it at some point in order to raise money for Wisconsin based charities.  With the Packers NFC Championship and Superbowl birth, the band had new reason to celebrate their native home.  Needless to say it was incredible for their song to play a part in the celebration this past Sunday, but the band are even more proud of the money they've generated, and continue to hope to raise for Wisconsin based charities via the song.

As an added bonus to an already incredible evening, the NFL selected their song "The Whip" as the soundtrack to a 2011 season retrospective played on the Jumbotron during halftime at Cowboys stadium.  With its first adds to Top 40 this past week, the song is poised to be a break out single this summer.
