he Head are thrilled to announce the release of their upcoming album "Hang On." Set for a June 21st release, "Hang On" was produced by Grammy award-winning producer Don McCollister and continues to showcase what The Atlanta Journal Constitution hails as "old-school power-pop that recalls the Shoes, the Spongetones, the Raspberries and many other under-appreciated '70s and '80s guitar-pop outfits. It could sound nostalgic and contrived, but it doesn't. So many times, attempts to bring power pop into this millennium just sound retro, but it feels perfectly natural and organic in the hands of The Head."
Made up of twin brothers Jack & Mike Shaw and Jacob Morrell, The Head have created an album full of endearing harmony-fueled guitar pop. Melding their influences into one impressive sound, "Hang On" is powered by exceptional songwriting, infectious melodies and forceful performances, giving the record a memorable spirit.
