Jason Aldean kicked off the 2012 leg of his MY KINDA PARTY TOUR with a sold-out first run in Greenville, SC, Fayetteville, NC and Orlando, FL this weekend. Each of those shows set new attendance records for the arenas. Fellow Georgia natives Luke Bryan and Lauren Alaina joined Aldean, with DeeJay Silver returning to the tour to keep the party going between sets with his signature rock and country mixes.
Due to overwhelming demand for this final leg of the MY KINDA PARTY TOUR, the new production features a 360-degree configuration that allows fans who couldn't get tickets before to purchase a view from the rear of the stage. The 2012 MY KINDA PARTY TOUR is an extension of the record-breaking 2011 leg that sold one million tickets across the country last year.
"I'm not gonna lie…its a big challenge to try and entertain people who are on all sides of you. I have to work a lot harder, and I come off the stage absolutely drenched. The opening weekend was unbelievable, and I had a blast pulling Luke and Lauren up on stage during different parts of the show. It's fun to keep the fans guessing and surprised. Sometimes, I even get surprised…we had a few stage jumpers, so that kept it interesting for all of us! The fans were out of their minds this weekend!."
Additionally, Aldean is releasing "Fly Over States" to radio this week. The fifth single off his DOUBLE PLATINUM album MY KINDA PARTY, the song is an ode to the beauty and hardworking spirit of our country's heartland. Entertainment Weekly said, "The song has the kind of soaring chorus that makes you want to press 'repeat' as soon as it ends.

Aldean's DOUBLE PLATINUM fourth record MY KINDA PARTY was the top-selling country album of 2011 and the No. five best-seller in all genres. The CMA Album of the Year was also named iTunes' "Country Album of the Year" and came in at No. four on Billboard's all-genre Year End Top 200 Albums chart.

Jason Aldean Scores 3rd Consecutive #1 with Brantley Gilbert's "Dirt Road Anthem!"
Country rocker Jason Aldean scores his seventh No. one song as "Dirt Road Anthem" drives into the top slot on the Billboard Country Songs chart this week. The third consecutive PLATINUM release off Country's best-selling album of 2011, MY KINDA PARTY, the track also tops the Country Digital Singles Chart again this week with over 1.3 million singles sold to date. The song also marks the second consecutive No. one Aldean release written by Athens, GA's Brantley Gilbert.
"We definitely knew when we recorded this song, we'd turn some heads. Thankfully, when they turned, they also started nodding along," laughs Aldean. "It's been a great song to play live and also to be able to do some experimenting with for tv performances and things like that. I love being able to put out a big ballad like our duet with Kelly and come back with something a little different the next time. I don't want anyone to ever think they've got me figured out exactly!"
Simultaneously, Aldean's duet with pop powerhouse Kelly Clarkson "Don't You Wanna Stay" continues to climb the AC, Hot AC and Top 40 charts. Both songs follow the success of the lead single "My Kinda Party," making this the third consecutive No. one hit from Aldean's fourth studio effort.
Aldean spent this last week in Phoenix at the Major League Baseball's All Star Week, where he played in the Celebrity and Legends softball game and performed on ESPN's broadcast of the 2011 Homerun Derby. He is also featured this month in ESPN magazine's celebrity series "Fans Like Us" with Justin Timberlake, John Legend and more. Jason Aldean-Ludacris Brantley Gilbert Cover Available On iTunes
Last night at the 2011 CMT Music Awards, top nominee Jason Aldean and rapper Ludacris brought the house down with an unexpected collaboration of Aldean's current Top 10 hit "Dirt Road Anthem." The remix of the song is now available on iTunes for download. Additionally, the performance video will be available on Mon., June 13.
"Ludacris absolutely killed his verse of the song," said Aldean. "He name checks Kenny Rogers and talks about drinking cold beer…that's pretty country, if you ask me! I think Luda said it best last night at the close of the song when he told the crowd 'History has been made.' It really did feel like one of those one-in-a-lifetime television moments, and the CMT Music Awards was the perfect show for it. The fans were crazy!"

Jason Aldean Releases Brantley Gilbert's "Dirt Road Anthem" As Third Single
Jason Aldean, the ACM Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year nominee, is releasing "Dirt Road Anthem" as the third single off his PLATINUM selling album MY KINDA PARTY. Interestingly, both "Dirt Road Anthem" and the album's title track were penned by another fast raising country sensation from Georgia, Athens' Brantely Gilbert.
The fan-favorite track, which hints at from Colt Ford to Charlie Daniels, will make its network television debut when he performs live Sun., April 3 on the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on CBS. The song will be on country radio's desk and available via PLAY MPE on April 4.
"I always get excited to test new songs out on the road," said Aldean. "This one is a little different because it kicks off with the chorus, so everyone starts sorta grooving along with it...and then we hit that first verse with the rapid fire lyrics, and the fans go nuts. I know we're pushing some boundaries with a song like this, but I also think people expect that from me now. I'm really taking the fans' lead on this one, but I think it's going to be a killer single for us on the road this summer."

MY KINDA PARTY has already spawned the three week No. one smash "Don't You Wanna Stay" with Kelly Clarkson, and its title track took the top spot on the Mediabase country singles chart in December. The album hit big out of the gate, selling over 193,000 albums its first week, more than any debut by a male vocalist in over three years and was certified PLATINUM only eleven weeks after release. Following the ACM Awards, Aldean will pick his MY KINDA PARTY tour back up for 38 more dates through August. For a full list of appearances and upcoming tour dates, visit www.jasonaldean.com.
