Arthur Channel featuring current and former members of The Wallflowers, RHCP, QOTSA and more announce debut single and LA show

Well-known names on the national and Los Angeles music scene Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eleven, Pearl Jam),  Greg Richling (The Wallflowers) and Alain Johannes  (Eleven,  Queens Of The Stone Age,  Them Crooked Vultures)  have combined forces with vocalist Jonathan Greene to create a new project called Arthur Channel.

The first single "Vapor" boasts a familiar yet non-derivative sound with its propulsive rhythm, shimmering  guitars and hauntingly anthemic  vocals.  The track is available at iTunes at http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/vapor-single/id472519105 and can be streamed at http://www.arthurchannel.com/.  A full length release will follow in the first quarter of 2012 with tour dates to follow.

The band performs its Los Angeles debut at Sunset Strip institution The Viper Room at 9PM on Thursday, October 27.  Tickets at the door are $15 and advance tickets can be purchased for $12 athttp://www.viperroom.com/blog/?page_id=1910 .
