Brooklyn duo Acrylics (aka Molly Shea and Jason Klauber) have released a new video for their single,"Sparrow Song." Taken from their debut LP, Lives and Treasure, out now on Friendly Fire Recordings, the track features the celestial guest vocals of Caroline Polachek (Chairlift). After performing several sets atSXSW this year the band will kick off a North American tour in April with Swedish act Junip.
Produced by New York based video production collective House Plants, the video looks like a new age daydream loaded with fantasy-like imagery from floating cats to ribbon dancers. The imaginary clips gently compliment the track's synth -driven euphoria.
With the help of producers Patrick Wimberly (Chairlift), Matt Boynton (Gang Gang Dance, MGMT), Britt Myers (Yeasayer, Chairlift) and mastering engineer Chris Gehringer (Rihanna, Drake, Nas), Lives and Treasurefollows their 2009 Terrible Records debut EP, All of the Fire.
