Six time GRAMMY winning group Lady Antebellum will release their third studio album OWN THE NIGHT next Tues., Sept. 13.
After spending more time writing and recording than ever before, Lady A will kick off their international release schedule in Green Bay, WI tomorrow for a pregame performance airing live on NBC, USA Network and NFL Network from the NFL's Kickoff 2011 (re-airs in primetime on Sept. 10 on NBC). The trio's schedule from there includes TV appearances on GAC's Backstory: Lady Antebellum (Sept. 11), a special 9/11 performance of the National Anthem on NBC before the Jets and Cowboys open their season at MetLife Stadium (Sept. 11), TODAY (Sept. 13), The Ellen DeGeneres Show (Sept. 16), The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Sept. 16), CBS Sunday Morning (Sept. 25) and Saturday Night Live (Oct. 1).
Throughout release week, Lady A will host a select number of lucky fans at their "Own The Night: Unplugged"concert series in Chicago (Sept. 10), New York City (Sept. 13) and Los Angeles (Sept. 15). Lady A will also travel to Canada and Europe with more television appearances and fan events lined up over the course of the next month.
"We've literally been working towards these next few weeks all year," says Charles Kelley. "The anticipation of being able to FINALLY share these songs with our fans is killing us. Hopefully, those who have been with Lady A for a long time will see this as the next chapter for us as songwriters and performers; and the people who aren't as familiar with us will check it out and maybe find something on the album they dig. We're really just excited to get it out, and then kick off the new tour."
Fans can catch Lady Antebellum on the upcoming first leg of their headlining OWN THE NIGHT 2011 TOUR beginning on Nov. 11 in Knoxville, TN. Both the tour name and trio's upcoming album OWN THE NIGHT were inspired by their new second single, the anthemic "We Owned The Night." The album's record breaking lead single "Just A Kiss" recently spent multiple weeks at the top of radio charts in the U.S. and Canada. OWN THE NIGHT is the follow-up to the band's triple PLATINUM and GRAMMY winning second disc NEED YOU NOW.

Lady Antebellum Reveals New Album Details!
Multi-PLATINUM country music group Lady Antebellum is sharing new details today on their forthcoming third Capitol Nashville studio album OWN THE NIGHT, in stores Sept. 13.
After sweeping the 2011 GRAMMY Awards earlier this year, the singer/songwriters returned to Nashville to focus on writing and recording the follow up to their top selling NEED YOU NOW. The trio penned 10 of the new disc's 12 tracks, including their fastest rising and current Top 10 single "Just A Kiss." Collaborating again with veteran producer Paul Worley, Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott also return as co-producers.
"We're definitely more in tune with each other musically and personally than ever," said Haywood. "It's an exciting place to be. This album was created from the ground up—we are writing these songs, playing these instruments and creating these arrangements. With OWN THE NIGHT, more than ever before, I think we share a real feeling of accomplishment both as a band and as friends."

New Music From Lady A Released Today!
eigning CMA and ACM Vocal "Group of the Year" Lady Antebellum released the lead single "Just A Kiss" off their forthcoming third Capitol Nashville studio album to radio today. Lady A will also host a live web chat through Facebook and ladyantebellum.com/live to talk about their new music on Tues., May 3 at 12:30pm CT, before debuting the song live on FOX's "American Idol" on Thurs., May 5 at 8:00P ET/7:00P CT.
"We love writing songs from personal experience, and this is definitely one of those songs," explains Scott. "There is so much excitement at the beginning of a new relationship…all the butterflies and that optimistic feeling that this person could be 'the one.' This song is about one of those times when your brain kicks in and tells your heart 'good things are worth waiting for.'"
"One of the best things about writing for us is that we have the option to speak from both the man and woman's perspective because Charles and Hill can share lead vocals," said Haywood. "This is actually the very last song we wrote for the album. We were about six songs into recording and someone had this idea, so we sat down to write it. Then we took it to our producer Paul Worley, and a few days later we were recording it."
"The day we wrote this song was one of those days that renewed my faith in the bond the three of us have as songwriters," adds Kelley. "It came so easily, and it reminded me of the early days when we first started out, and we'd spend hours in my brother Josh's house writing songs. Everyone keeps asking if we feel pressure after the success of 'Need You Now,' and we are trying to not even think about the new album or these songs in those terms. We are just writing about what we are going through in our lives, and we hope that country music fans continue to connect with them."
